Today my mother, Mollie Weinstein Schaffer, is featured on the “We Remember” section on the website of the Jewish Women’s Archives.  This section features the passing of notable Jewish women.   My mother would be so proud!

Today “Mollie’s War” is featured on the “Passing of a Military Mom/Author” section on the website of the National Museum of American Jewish Military History. Although we were not able to attend the Family Stories, Daughters, Mothers and Bubbes event in Washington DC in May 2011, Mary Westley from the Museum read some of my mother’s letters.
